Note: each discipline needs to make sure that they practice only within their scope of practice of their profession.

This class combines mindful movement with intentional nasal breathing, helping you build strength, flexibility, and calm. By practicing at least five breaths in each posture and position, you’ll deepen your body awareness while reinforcing the breathing techniques central to our philosophy of whole-person wellness.
The focus of this seminar is on craniovertebral relationships; the interplay between the cervical spine and the TMJ; with emphasis on the normal centric relation. Pathologies related to disturbances of the craniovertebral relationship, such as facial asymmetry and TMJ disc displacement, will be discussed and the need to treat this area with a three-dimensional approach will be emphasized. Lab sessions will focus on treatment of the craniovertebral junction.
This seminar will primarily be focused on displacement of the intra-articular disc of the TMJ but will also cover the role of the subcranial spine in the causation of craniofacial pain and the association between detrimental oral habits (parafunctions) and craniofacial pain. Medial and lateral disc subluxations will be carefully examined, as will disc-condyle and disc-eminence subluxations.
