Our clinicians are trained on Buteyko and Laynee Restorative Breathing Methods and Myofunctional therapy, taking a whole-body approach to improving well being through better breathing.
Find out how you can eliminate a host of issues by improving your airway health including snoring, anxiety, high blood pressure and more.
If your child struggles with asthma, ADHD, swollen tonsils and more, find out how breathing better may improve these conditions.
Your normal breathing volume intake is 4-6 liters of air per minute (during rest), but some people who breathe through their mouths or have improper mechanics have a drastically increased breathing volume, known as overbreathing.
Overbreathing results in disproportionate amounts of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the blood, which reduce the oxygenation of tissue and organs, including the brain. Some symptoms of overbreathing and mouth breathing include anxiety, sleep apnea, asthmatic flare-ups, hyperactivity, inflamed tonsils and adenoids, and more.
Just about everyone has some sort of breathing deficiency. Once your breathing pattern is evaluated, we create a path toward a solution.
Common breathing deficiencies include:
Many students, even those with larger physical or breathing issues, experience results quickly with a basic understanding and simple exercises for proper breathing.
Through the combination of the Buteyko approach, myofunctional therapy, and the Laynee Restorative Breathing method™, Dr. Jenny and her team work with patients to retrain their breathing. We have created a complete program that incorporates low-cost training aids and practical, effective exercises that seamlessly fit into anyone’s daily routine.

Our introduction to the Breathing Clinic focuses on the need to breathe through the nose and the diaphragm, proper tongue placement and exercises and training to build proper breathing habits. From taking your own breathing measurements to how to build better breathing habits and techniques, Dr. Jenny has created a variety of course offerings with a training regimen and simple daily habits for proper breathing in this self-paced online program.
Dr. Jenny teaches innovative corrective therapies to address tongue posture, lip seal and diaphragmatic breathing, often influenced by undiagnosed or untreated tongue-tie, tongue-thrust and improper swallowing. Using noninvasive techniques, Dr. Jenny retrains patients in proper tongue posture to reshape the function of the tongue.
The tongue and surrounding soft tissue influence the entire breathing and oral structure and if these disorders go untreated, it can result in deficit disorders, headaches, breathing problems, crooked teeth, clenching, gum disease, ear and throat issues and more.
While these structures are still forming, children can reverse the long-time effects of these problems with myofunctional therapy and GOPex training. Adults can also benefit immensely from myofunctional therapy and reverse the effects of poor breathing, which in many, cases if not treated, can lead to snoring and sleep apnea.
This training is based on The Laynee Restorative Breathing Method™ which restores the proper function of the cranial nerves (12 paired nerves in the brain stem) that govern our autonomic functions of the body; such as seeing, hearing, balance, breathing, and swallowing. If we are not utilizing our nose to breathe, the cranial nerve system becomes less effective, and at times – it can become hyperactive; with others, under-active. This method will restore the proper function of these nerves, allowing your body to restore its health and vitality. It will also help reset the respiratory system to be neurologically reprogrammed to work efficiently and effectively.
