Abigail A. Boursiquot, MA, CCC-SLP, CLC received her Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and is a Certified Lactation Consultant. She has experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatric and adult settings treating speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders, and has focused her career primarily in dysphagia and feeding management with both adults and infants. She has prior experience in the neonatal intensive care unit and is an infant feeding specialist with experience in bottle feeding and breastfeeding, specifically for medically complex infants, managing the issues that can occur with prematurity and frenectomy recovery.

Abigail loves creating trusting relationships with her patients and has excellent interpersonal skills that help her connect with patients help them through a challenging time or procedure. She is currently pursuing myofunctional training and plans to sit for the board examination to be recognized as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant later this year

Outside of the clinic, Abigail enjoys taking walks with her husband, son, and adorable dog. She loves painting and traveling to new countries to immerse herself in new cultures. She especially loves exploring the parks, restaurants, and coffee shops in Chicago
